Scientists have proved: jasmine reduces anxiety and fights depression.
According to ТСН: Jasmine is considered the king of fragrances, but few know about its miraculous effect on people and its beneficial properties.
This plant neutralizes negative emotions such as insecurity, anger, and anxiety, and helps combat depression. Therefore, it has been dubbed the 'plant of happiness', as it positively affects mental health.
There are several species of jasmine, but only two of them — Jasminum officinale and Jasminum grandiflorum — are suitable for producing essential oil due to their unique aroma.
Researchers led by Professor Hans Gatt from
Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf confirmed that the scent of jasmine positively affects the psyche, and thus, the overall state of the body.
In a study on mice, it was found that when exposed to the scent of the plant, the animals calmed down and reduced their activity. Brain scans showed that the fragrance of jasmine significantly reduces anxiety levels.
Records of this study were published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry.

Jasmine requires abundant but controlled watering:
In spring and summer, the soil should be slightly moist, but not wet.
In autumn and winter, the watering frequency should be reduced — the soil should dry out between waterings.
Use soft, settled water.
Humidity

Jasmine does not tolerate dry air, especially in winter.
Spraying, humidifiers, or a tray with water and expanded clay will work.
Avoid getting water on the buds, as this can cause them to drop.
Soil and repotting

In autumn and winter, feeding should be suspended.
