China assured Russia of the strength of their strategic partnership.

Xi Jinping told Putin that the relations between China and Russia are not under threat
During a phone conversation, Xi Jinping emphasized to Russian President Putin that China and Russia remain close to each other. According to the Chinese leader, this call is a confirmation that China does not want to become an obstacle for Russia, even as the Kremlin approaches the USA, CNN reports.
Xi Jinping noted that China and Russia are friends and neighbors who share both joy and sorrow, and he is confident that their relations will be resilient to the influence of third parties.
China has become Russia's main partner, despite its neutrality in the conflict. It is accused of supporting Russian defense production, but at the same Time, China defends its trade with Russia.
Xi and Putin consider each other key partners in the fight against the West, but US actions raise doubts about their cooperation. Chinese officials also express concern over diplomacy between the US and Russia.
At the conference in Munich, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi supported peaceful efforts between the US and Russia, but noted the importance of involving all parties in negotiations. However, at the G20 foreign ministers' meeting in Johannesburg, the Chinese diplomat did not mention this in his speech and pointed to the growing cooperation between China and Russia.
Thus, China supports efforts to achieve peace between the US and Russia and is open to cooperation in this direction.
