Utilities, business start-up, demining: Cabinet made important decisions.
Ukraine launches pilot project "Unified Utilities Platform"
Ukraine is implementing a pilot project "Unified Housing and Utilities Platform", as announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The project includes automation of processes, provision of accessible and convenient services, improvement of consumer accounting and quality control of services. Users will receive an electronic cabinet with information about managers, service providers, prices and tariffs, and they can also conclude and terminate contracts online.
The project will also be integrated with other information systems, ensuring data exchange.
Separate decisions for business support and demining
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law that establishes a declarative principle for starting a new business. The government also revised the Action Plan for Deregulation and Business Climate Improvement, which will include 103 tasks and 143 step-by-step measures aimed at supporting business.
In addition, a decision was made to accelerate humanitarian demining. State enterprises are allowed to attract funds from charitable donations for demining works. One of these opportunities is held by "Ukroboronprom". Its involvement in the process will help to clear Ukraine from mine debris faster.
