German Companies Are Increasing Their Presence in Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that the German concern Rheinmetall will soon complete the construction of a second military enterprise in Ukraine. He made this statement at a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin.
According to Rutte, the development of the defense industry is critically important for the security of Europe and the defense of Ukraine.
"Rheinmetall has just opened the first plant in Ukraine. The construction of the second enterprise will soon be completed," Rutte said.
Mark Rutte also reported that since 2022, Rheinmetall plans to significantly increase ammunition production.
