Contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine for Youth: Zelensky Announced New Service Conditions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared details about the upcoming youth support program, which will include signing a one-year contract with the army.
Zelensky noted that this initiative was developed in partnership with military commanders and the Ministry of Defense. Discussions about the details took place with commanders, including Pavlo Polisa and General Moisuk.
The main feature of the program is a comprehensive package of benefits. Young people who sign a one-year contract will receive financial assistance of one million hryvnias. In addition, there are advantages such as free higher education without exams and a preferential mortgage with a zero interest rate, which will be fully covered by the state.
'This is an experimental contract with many important conditions,' the president noted.
Zelensky also announced that official details of the program, including the specifics of service directions and brigades, will be published in the coming days.
The president emphasized the flexibility of the offer, noting that military personnel will be able to sign a one-year contract with the possibility of further extension. This decision is aimed at enhancing the country's defense capability and creating attractive conditions for youth.
Earlier, Zelensky responded to calls from the USA to lower the mobilization age.
