According to the UN, 46% of those killed in Ukraine were over 60 years old. In September, 9 children were killed and 76 injured, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission reports.

According to the organization, 46% of those killed were also over 60 years old, and overall in September, 9 children were killed and 76 people were injured.

Missile attacks across the country, especially on the cities of Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia, contributed to the increase in casualties. Many victims near the front line were the result of attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles, the report says.

The UN also adds that "the overwhelming majority of civilian casualties (92%) and damage to educational and medical facilities (96%) in September occurred on the territory controlled by Ukraine".

At least 30 shelling incidents damaged or destroyed energy infrastructure (25 in the territory controlled by Ukraine, and 5 in the territory occupied by the Russian Federation) - the report states.

It is noted that Russian military forces constantly attack Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons, including unmanned aerial vehicles, missiles, guided aerial bombs, and rocket salvo systems.

Recall that Caroline Lindholm Billing, a representative of the UN refugee agency, stated that the UN does not have the necessary funds to help Ukrainians next winter, when more than half of Ukraine's electricity production capacity was destroyed.

It is also worth noting that the UN General Assembly supported a resolution by a majority vote requiring Israel to leave the occupied territories.

In its latest report on Ukraine, the UN Monitoring Mission also reported new facts of Russians violating the Geneva Conventions. Prominent representative of the Verkhovna Rada for human rights Dmitry Lubinets noted that the execution of Ukrainian military personnel is a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
