Financial Support for Vulnerable Residents in Kryvyi Rih
According to Novyny.live: The 'Caritas Kryvyi Rih' charity fund is providing financial assistance for housing rental to vulnerable groups in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, who have been affected by the war. This aid is available to families with children, people with disabilities, and the elderly who are internally displaced persons. The program operates within the city of Kryvyi Rih and the Kryvyi Rih district.
Eligibility and Required Documentation
Applications for assistance are being accepted in February. The monetary support is provided for a term of six months. Vulnerable categories eligible for this financial aid include:
- Elderly individuals living alone;
- Citizens with disabilities;
- Individuals with severe illnesses;
- Single mothers or fathers of minor children;
- Large families with three or more minor children;
- Pregnant women.
The average monthly income per person must not exceed 6,318 UAH. This initiative is part of broader humanitarian efforts to support those displaced by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
To register for assistance, applicants must prepare specific documents, which include:
- Passport;
- Identification code;
- Certificate of internally displaced person status;
- IBAN bank account number;
- Documents confirming vulnerability category, such as an OK-5 or OK-7 certificate.

“The Caritas Kryvyi Rih Charity Fund provides monetary assistance for housing rental to families living in Kryvyi Rih and the Kryvyi Rih district who have recently arrived from temporarily occupied territories or from areas where hostilities are taking place,” representatives of the fund stated.
In a related effort, the charitable organization 'Caritas-Spes Ukraine' is implementing the 'FARM' project to support agriculture. Grants under this project start from 33.6 thousand UAH and reach up to 125 thousand UAH. The 'FARM' program is available in the Kharkiv region.
The 'Caritas Kryvyi Rih' fund's initiative is a crucial component of social support at a time when many people in Ukraine face hardships due to the war's consequences. Providing financial aid for housing rental can significantly ease the lives of vulnerable population groups, including internally displaced persons.
