Lukashenko fell on the ice during a hockey match: video of the dictator's fall

According to ТСН: Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, was involved in a comical incident during a hockey match where his team competed against the team from the Brest region. The video of this fall was published by blogger Sergey Bespalov on his Telegram channel.

Incident at the match

The recording shows how a hockey player wearing number '68' accidentally crashes into Lukashenko's back, who is playing with number '01'. After the collision, Lukashenko loses his balance and falls onto the ice, hitting his head on the surface of the rink.

Wearing number '68' on Lukashenko's team was Yaroslav Chupris, a former player of the Belarusian national team. After the fall, the match was stopped for a while, the stands fell silent, and Chupris hurried to help Lukashenko get up. A few players from the team also approached them.

Reactions from the commentator and press service

The commentator initially did not know what to say, but later suggested that everyone present should 'support the number one'. Lukashenko's press service did not mention this moment but reported that the match ended in a draw 5:5, and Lukashenko's son, Nikolai, equalized the score by scoring a puck thirty seconds before the end of the third period.

It is worth reminding that earlier Lukashenko, during negotiations with a US representative about the release of political prisoners, inquired about weight loss drugs.

This incident with Lukashenko has become yet another example of how political figures often find themselves in comical situations that instantly become topics of discussion in the media and social networks. Incidents of this kind highlight the difficulty of balancing public life and personal moments that often become public knowledge.
