Lukashenko on Strike Against Zelensky: What Putin Rejected After the Launch of Oreshnik

According to ТСН: Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, stated that Russia could 'easily' strike the residence of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

This statement was made as he commented on the use of the new Russian missile 'Oreshnik'.

On Possible Strikes

Lukashenko noted that after the first launch of this missile system, supporters of harsher actions appeared in Russia, who proposed a repeated strike, particularly on the so-called 'centers of decision-making'. However, according to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin allegedly categorically rejected this idea.

Information About the Missile System

Meanwhile, on December 30, the Ministries of Defense of Russia and Belarus announced that the 'Oreshnik' missile officially entered combat duty in Belarus. Both sides also released videos from the ceremonial events, noting that the personnel completed the necessary retraining and started mastering the patrolling areas.

In Minsk, it was reported that this system has a range of up to 5000 kilometers and can be equipped with both conventional and special warheads.

Currently, the military capabilities situation in the region remains tense. Lukashenko's statements raise new questions about potential military actions and security in Ukraine. The deployment of missile systems on Belarusian territory also raises concerns among neighboring countries and the international community.
