Ukraine agreed to the US proposal for a complete ceasefire for 30 days along the entire front line. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky after a meeting of the Ukrainian delegation with the American team in Saudi Arabia.

'Our delegation just reported on the meeting with the American team in Saudi Arabia. Our Ukrainian proposal for this meeting with the Americans was silence in the sky - missiles, bombs, long-range drones, and silence at sea, and real measures to establish trust regarding the entire situation, in which diplomacy continues, primarily - the release of prisoners,' said Zelensky.

According to him, the American side proposed to extend the ceasefire regime for 30 days along the entire front line. Ukraine has agreed to this proposal and expressed its readiness to take the first step. The restoration of military aid from the US and long-term security guarantees for Ukraine were also discussed.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that the ball is now in Russia's court and hopes for a positive response. Rubio also noted that diplomacy is the only way to end the war.

According to a joint statement after the meeting in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), it is Time to start the process of establishing lasting peace. The proposal for a ceasefire for 30 days can be extended by mutual consent of the parties.

Zelensky thanked President Trump and emphasized that Ukraine is ready for peace, but now it is Russia's turn to show whether it is ready to end the war. Trump's national security advisor also supported Ukraine's proposal and emphasized the need for diplomacy to end the war.
