According to ТСН: The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, confirmed that a meeting of the Coalition of the Determined will take place in Paris at the beginning of January.
He announced this on social media. Macron stated that on Sunday evening he discussed the situation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump along with several European leaders. After that, he had a separate conversation with Zelensky.
“We are making progress on security guarantees that will be key to building a fair and lasting peace,” emphasized the President of France.
Macron also confirmed that at the beginning of January, representatives of the countries of the Coalition of the Determined will gather in Paris.
“At the beginning of January, we will gather the countries of the Coalition of the Determined in Paris to finalize the specific contribution of each country,” he added.
Earlier, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, reported “good progress” achieved in the negotiations regarding Ukraine.
It is also known that Zelensky and Trump had a phone conversation with European leaders.
The meeting of the Coalition of the Determined in Paris promises to become an important platform for discussing security issues and support for Ukraine.
