According to UATV: On May 31, 2023, Russian forces launched a drone assault on the city of Dnipro, setting a logistics company's warehouse ablaze. One of the unmanned aerial vehicles struck the facility directly, sparking a major fire. Emergency crews are still working to contain the damage, with approximately 70 rescue workers, 40 police officers, and nearly 30 pieces of equipment deployed to the scene. No casualties have been reported from the incident.
During the night of May 31, the Russian military targeted Ukrainian territory with 229 attack drones, with impacts recorded at 11 separate locations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the situation, stating:
“As a result of the drone attack, a warehouse building at the 'Nova Poshta' terminal and vehicles are on fire.” - Volodymyr Zelenskyy
He also stressed the need for continued assistance:
“What is needed is sufficient support for our defense and sustained pressure on Russia.” - Volodymyr Zelenskyy
