Medvedev threatened the USA with nuclear weapons over Trump's statement.
Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev did not leave the warning from Donald Trump about a 'dangerous threshold' for Russia unanswered. In his Telegram post, Medvedev noted that such a reaction from the USA only confirms the correctness of the Kremlin's position.
In his response, the Russian politician also did not miss the eloquent language, noting that if the words of the former president of the Russian Federation provoke a nervous reaction from the current US president, it indicates that Russia is rightly choosing its path. Furthermore, Medvedev responded to Trump's statement about the 'dead economy' of India and Russia, reminding of the importance of considering all aspects, including possible consequences.
Medvedev's reaction became yet another step in the recent political rhetoric between Russia and the USA, adding new accents to the complex situation on the international stage.
