According to Bild, today German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and French President Emmanuel Macron intend to coordinate their actions.
In addition, they will jointly decide whether they will go to the US and who exactly will go. At the same time, Bild notes that an official invitation from the US is needed for this, which has not yet been given.
It is recalled that on the night of August 15-16, a meeting took place in the US state of Alaska between US President Donald Trump and Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin. The key topic was the war in Ukraine and options for its resolution.
