According to ТСН: On January 4, cloudy weather is expected in Ukraine. In the southern, eastern and central regions, there will be wet snow and rain during the day, while no precipitation is forecasted for the rest of the territory.
This is reported by the "Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center".
"Cloudy. In the south, east, during the day and in the central regions, wet snow and rain, locally wet snow accumulation, icing, with no precipitation in the rest of the territory. On the roads, except for the south, there may be icy conditions," the message states.
The wind will be south-western and southern, with a speed of 7-12 m/s, and in the southeast gusts of 15-20 m/s are possible.
Night temperatures will fluctuate from -5 to -10°C (in the Carpathians from -8 to -13°C), while during the day from 0 to 5°C. In the south and southeast, the night temperature will be from +2 to +3°C, during the day from -1 to +6°C, while in Crimea, it may rise to +9°C.
No precipitation is expected in the capital and Kyiv region, but icy conditions are possible on the roads.
It was previously reported that the new year in Ukraine will begin with frosts. According to meteorologists' forecasts, cold air masses continuing to come from the north will shape the weather.
Weather in Ukraine at the beginning of January is characterized by changes that can affect daily affairs. Cloudiness and precipitation in the southern and central regions, as well as temperature fluctuations, require caution on the roads.
