Moldova's Aid Package for Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: Moldova is providing Ukraine with a €700,000 package of energy and humanitarian assistance, aimed at supporting its power grid and critical infrastructure. The details of this aid were announced on February 10 by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a meeting in Kyiv with his Moldovan counterpart, Alexandru Munteanu.
This assistance from Moldova will include the following items:
- Generators
- Transformers
- Conductors
- Cables
- Medical equipment
- Transport vehicles
The meeting between Shmyhal and Munteanu took place in Kyiv, where the Moldovan Prime Minister was on an official visit. During this meeting, a series of bilateral agreements concerning cooperation between the two countries were signed.
Alexandru Munteanu also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal thanked the Moldovan government for the announced aid package, stating:
'I thank the Government of Moldova for the announced aid package to Ukraine in a difficult energy situation, with a total value of 700,000 euros.' Denys Shmyhal
