In Rome, ice cream in honor of the Pope has become popular. This flavor has existed for a long time, but after the Pope's death, its popularity has significantly increased. According to the owner of the Del Monte ice cream cafe, Pope Francis himself tasted this ice cream. When he was called the Pope, the idea to name the ice cream in his honor emerged on its own. Recently, the nuns took a few portions. Now research has begun to create a new flavor of ice cream in honor of the new Pope.
In Rome, establishments that sell ice cream often choose to create a special type of this dessert dish under the influence of the Holy Year. The recipe for the winner of the European ice cream competition also comes from Italy. Earlier, customs officers in Odessa discovered a hidden shipment of cigarettes and wine during a scan of a truck with domestically produced ice cream.
