Muscovite may face 10 years in prison for post about Putin's murder.
The prosecutor demands 10 years in a penal colony for 43-year-old Russian Anastasia Berezhinskaya for posts on the banned social network 'VKontakte' in Ukraine. She is accused of discrediting the Russian army, spreading false information, and justifying terrorism. This was reported by 'Mediazona'.
It is noted that the woman is 43 years old, has two children aged 8 and 10, and a husband who suffers from epilepsy. She is trained as a director. Her 'VKontakte' account has only 632 friends, and her last post was written on November 12 of this year, while her page is blocked in Russia by a prosecutor's decision.
Berezhinskaya partially admitted her guilt and agreed with the charges regarding spreading fakes and discrediting the army. The Russian woman stated that she was 'upset and concerned about the peaceful population of both Russia and Ukraine.' Regarding the charge of justifying terrorism, the Russian woman only partially confessed, as she does not consider her comments a call to action and says that she wrote 'shoot Putin' 'into the air' and 'for personal use.'
During interrogations, the detainee said that now she 'respects the Russian army' and 'commits to being a worthy citizen of her country.'
Recall that in the city of Chebarkul, Chelyabinsk region, a photo of a murderer was hung on the stand of so-called 'heroes of the special military operation.' In 2014, a Russian man raped and murdered the mother of two children.
Sentencing of an American for participating in the war on Ukraine's side
The Moscow city court sentenced 72-year-old American citizen Stephen Hubbard to six years and ten months in prison for participating in military actions on Ukraine's side. He became the first American sentenced for mercenary charges in the context of the Ukrainian war.
By the way, a Russian who participated in the war against Ukraine committed a double murder after returning home. One of the victims was his elderly relative, the winner of the 'Best Teacher of Russia' competition.
