According to ТСН: On Sunday, due to deteriorating weather conditions, especially from wet snow and gusts of wind, rescuers in Ivano-Frankivsk provided assistance to drivers who were stuck on the roads. They towed 12 vehicles and one bus.

On the road in the village of Semakivtsi in the Kolomyia district, rescuers freed 6 vehicles and helped 8 individuals, including 5 children. The citizens were transported to a stationary resilience point in the city of Horodenka with the help of an all-terrain vehicle.

Also, on the highway in this district, 6 vehicles were towed, including one passenger bus that was operating on the route 'Chernivtsi — Horodenka'. There were 24 individuals in these vehicles, including 2 children.

Actions of the rescuers

To eliminate the consequences of the bad weather, 36 personnel and 11 units of equipment were involved, including 23 rescuers and 5 units of equipment from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service.

Rescuers urge drivers to be especially attentive and cautious on the roads, considering the weather conditions. It is recommended to adhere to safe speed and distance, as well as to avoid trips unless necessary.

Moreover, on Sunday in the Kalush district of Ivano-Frankivsk region, a passenger bus skidded into the ditch and overturned, resulting in the death of one man.

On this day, the situation on the roads in the region was extremely complicated due to bad weather. Rescuers were actively working to help everyone in need of support. It should be noted that weather conditions may continue to affect road safety, so drivers should be as careful as possible.
