According to ТСН: In the Polish city of Slupsk, a teacher insulted Ukrainian students, calling them 'trash', and encouraged other children to attack them, which led to brutal beatings of Ukrainians.

The teacher provoked conflicts among students

'The teacher called the children from Ukraine trash and claimed they would not pass his subject because they are Ukrainian,' says lawyer David Denert, to whom the father of one of the affected students turned.

In the video, according to the lawyer, it is recorded how the teacher shouts: 'Next time you take the exam, you will definitely not pass it, because I will show you who a Pole is.' Moreover, the teacher from the Slupsk construction school spoke contemptuously of Ukrainian students, stating that 'Ukrainians make use of Polish services.'

'This teacher is very reluctant to communicate with Ukrainian students. He should face disciplinary actions. Such a person should not be teaching when they exhibit such tendencies. The teacher must be removed from the children he harmed,' believes the lawyer.

The story of the father of an affected student

Journalists spoke with the father of one of the affected Ukrainian students. A course was held at the Slupsk construction training complex, where students from various schools attended, including Ukrainians.

A Polish student often turned on his phone during lessons, playing sounds of bombs and missiles, telling Ukrainians: 'It's time to hide.' Ukrainians received other insulting messages, and the teacher did not react to these actions at all.

On the contrary, he himself spoke disparagingly about Ukrainians. One of the Ukrainian students began to document the teacher's comments. 'One of them approached the teacher and said: “This is why I respect you.” It is truly sad, because a teacher should set an example, not sow hatred in the minds of the youth,' the father noted.

Aggressive attack on Ukrainian students

The situation escalated when Ukrainian students were beaten after classes. The attackers were Polish students from the senior classes.

'The teacher's behavior during lessons encouraged and allowed xenophobic behavior among other students,' notes the lawyer.

Two adult Polish students attacked four Ukrainian teenagers as they walked to the bus stop. A group of Polish students followed the Ukrainians, shouting insulting remarks. When an argument broke out, one of the Polish students called out, shouting: 'The Ukrainians are already here,' after which two young men ran out of the school and brutally beat one of the Ukrainians. The boy suffered a broken nose and was covered in blood. The attack only stopped after the intervention of bystanders who called the police.

'One of the attackers initially spat in the face of one of the Ukrainian boys, saying: “To the front, Ukrainian b**ch,” and started punching him in the face,' said lawyer David Dehner.

Negligence in police actions

One of the mothers reported the attack to the police but was refused. She insisted on her statement and attended the police station again, after which the police finally reacted. It is known that one of the victims suffered a broken clavicle, and another young man likely suffered a concussion.

This is not the only report of bullying and persecution of Ukrainian children in Polish schools. In Siedlce, parents demanded not to enroll children from Ukraine in classes. Also, a Ukrainian woman recounted how her son was unable to play with a Polish girl due to remarks from her father, who heard the Ukrainian accent.

Starting from September 1, 2024, Poland has mandated all Ukrainian students on its territory to study in Polish schools. According to MP Knyazhitsky, this requirement may threaten the complete loss of an entire generation of Ukrainians.

The situation with bullying of Ukrainian students in Polish schools raises serious concern. Teachers and school administrations must be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for all students, regardless of their background. This issue requires urgent and decisive action at all levels to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.
