In Odesa region, police exposed a military service employee selling fake summons.
In the Odesa region, law enforcement agencies exposed a 24-year-old serviceman who demanded a bribe for issuing a fake summons. He was detained while receiving an illegal benefit, and subsequently, he was notified of suspicion.
Investigators recorded how the serviceman demanded $1,000 from a conscription-age man for a summons with a six-day validity. The document allowed free movement within Ukraine, and after its expiration, the offender promised to issue new summons for the same fee. Later, he raised the amount to 2,000 UAH.
During the serviceman's detention, the money received, a mobile phone, a summons, and other evidence were found.
Law enforcement suspects the suspect of violating Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – receiving illegal benefits. For this, he may face up to 10 years of imprisonment, a three-year ban from holding certain positions or engaging in relevant activities, and confiscation of property.
The court established a preventive measure – detention with the possibility of bail set at 242,240 UAH. The case is under review.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, the deputy commander of a military unit was detained for illegally removing night vision devices worth nearly 4 million UAH.

According to the investigation, from February to September 2023, the suspects supplied 30,000 units of clothing for Ukrainian defenders for a total of 28.7 million UAH.
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation notified the head of one of the central command offices of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the head of the department of this office, and a former director of a private enterprise of suspicion. They caused damages to the state exceeding 83 million UAH during the procurement of parts for armored vehicles.
It is reminded that 13 military officials have been notified of suspicion for illegally charging more than 13 million UAH in additional payments. The suspects are unit commanders, heads and employees of certain units, as well as the former head of the regional military recruitment center.
