Zelensky held a meeting on the preparation of the energy system for winter

On October 15, 2024, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky organized a meeting on the readiness of the country's energy system for the winter period. The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies responsible for the country's energy security.

"Energy Bet. Comprehensive preparation for winter. Reports from everyone involved in the process: Naftogaz, Ukrenergo, ministries of energy, internal affairs, community and territorial development, Air Forces, regional military administrations," Zelensky stated on social media.

Great attention at the meeting was paid to the protection of energy infrastructure. The President stated that "various levels of protection of the energy infrastructure: engineering, with the help of electronic warfare means and air defense efforts" were discussed. Zelensky also noted that "our aviation will take an active part".
