Tamara Yatsenko underwent surgery worth 200,000: Sumskaya reached out for help.
According to ТСН: The People's Artist of Ukraine Tamara Yatsenko underwent a complicated hip joint surgery.
About her colleague's condition reported Olga Sumskaya. She shared an emotional post on Facebook, pointing out that Yatsenko would not have been able to move normally and continue her professional activities without the surgical intervention. Olga emphasized that the surgery was life-saving.
Financial Costs of Treatment
Olga noted that the treatment costs were significant. The implants and all necessary materials amounted to over 127,000 Hryvnias. Additionally, over 74,000 Hryvnias were spent on medical services, including analyses, anesthesia, examinations, and hospital treatments. The total costs exceeded 200,000 Hryvnias.
Call for Help
She stressed that such expenses are too high for one person, which is why she turned to kind-hearted Ukrainians to financially support Tamara Yatsenko. The account information for assistance was published on her Facebook page. In her appeal, Olga noted that Yatsenko is not only a well-known artist but also a person who has brought joy, laughter, and sincere emotions to the audience for decades.
Furthermore, the actress explained that Tamara could not take advantage of the free treatment program, as 'the priority is now on the military.'
This situation highlights not only the financial difficulties faced by artists but also the overall challenges of the healthcare system in Ukraine. The demand for financial support and access to medical services has become a reality for many who are in a similar situation.
