Air defense destroyed over 90% of targets during the night attack: how it was achieved.
According to ТСН: On the night of November 29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a unique operation that has no analogs in the world.
Expert Recognition
Serhii Beskrestnov, a Ukrainian specialist in radio electronics and communication, noted the effectiveness of the Ukrainian air defense during the massive attack by Russia, which was mainly aimed at Kyiv.
"I will say without pathos that probably no city in the world of any country will be able to repel a well-planned attack of more than five hundred aerial targets," he noted.
Achievements of the Armed Forces
The expert also emphasized that the success of the operation was made possible by the skills of the Ukrainian military:
"When Patriot shoots down ballistic missiles in automatic mode, saving our lives, this is more the merit of the partners who provided us with these systems."
He added:
"We stood firm. Thank you to the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
A Challenging Night
On this critical night, the air defense stopped an unprecedented attack of almost six hundred enemy drones. According to information, the defenders of the sky demonstrated extraordinary skill, destroying over 90% of aerial targets. They also effectively dealt with ballistic missiles, stopping all four launched Iskanders.
Unfortunately, as a result of the evening attack by Russia on Kyiv, there were dead and injured. The mayor of the capital, Vitalii Klitschko, reported:
"The number of injured as a result of the enemy's night attack on the capital has risen to 29. 19 of them are in the city’s medical facilities. Two people have died."
These events underline the importance of a reliable air defense system for the protection of Ukrainian cities. Despite significant challenges, the Ukrainian military continues to demonstrate professionalism in the fight against the aggressor, saving civilian lives. The capital has once again confirmed its resilience, but the tragedy indicates the need for ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of the population.
