Newsweek: South Korea May Send Military Advisors to Ukraine in Response to North Korea's Actions.
After North Korea expressed support for Russia in the war, South Korea is considering sending its military and intelligence personnel to Ukraine. This is reported by Newsweek citing South Korean media sources.
The government and military of South Korea are considering a plan to send military and intelligence experts to Ukraine. The personnel will be able to provide translation services and interrogate North Korean soldiers if they are captured by Ukrainian forces. They will also be able to provide Kyiv with information on North Korea's tactics and operations.
The South Korean Ministry of Defense is openly considering the possibility of supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine. Previously, South Korea provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine during its war with Russia.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, warned that North Korea intends to prepare 10,000 soldiers to fight on the side of Russia, which could trigger a world war.
The Kremlin refused to comment on Russia's plans to use North Korean soldiers in its military operations against Ukraine, stating that there is a lot of contradictory information from South Korea and the USA.
