Nighttime Assault on Dnipro

According to UATV: A Russian drone attack struck the city of Dnipro around 11:00 PM on March 9, injuring at least ten people, including a 12-year-old child. The assault caused extensive damage to both residential buildings and the city's social infrastructure. Dnipro, a major industrial hub, has been a frequent target since the full-scale invasion began.

According to reports, ten individuals sustained injuries, with two currently under medical supervision. The explosions damaged more than ten multi-story buildings, shattering approximately one thousand windows. Educational facilities were also hit, specifically:

  • a school
  • a kindergarten

Roughly one hundred utility workers are on-site dealing with the aftermath of the attack.

"About a thousand windows have been blown out in the apartment blocks," stated Igor Makovtsev.
This nighttime strike underscores the persistent danger faced by Dnipro's residents due to the ongoing conflict.

The Wider Situation in Ukraine
