Drone Attack Hits Dnipro
According to UATV: On March 26, five people sustained injuries in Dnipro following a Russian drone attack. The blast occurred in a corner entrance of a four-story building, triggering fires on the second and third floors. Apartments at the epicenter of the explosion suffered severe destruction, while over 50 units were damaged, including shattered windows.
The victims ranged in age from 55 to 90 years old. Among them are eyewitnesses who described the event as extremely perilous.
“If she had hesitated, the shrapnel would have flown through those windows,” noted Elena, a Dnipro resident.Another local, Olga, expressed her fear:
“It’s terrifying, I can’t put it into words.”
Aftermath and Response
Emergency crews are on-site, wrapping up efforts to manage the explosion’s aftermath. Firefighting teams are working to contain the blazes on the second and third floors while ensuring the safety of residents. Police are documenting the damage and collecting statements from those affected. Additionally, a commission from the Central Administration is assessing the extent of the harm caused.
Dozens of cars in the building’s courtyard were also damaged, underscoring the blast’s force and its impact on the surrounding area. The incident has sparked concern among city residents, who are closely monitoring the situation as it develops.
