Odesa Under Fire: March 19 Attack Details
According to TSN.ua: On the night of March 19, Russian forces launched a strike on Odesa, causing destruction across three districts and leaving three people wounded. The assault resulted in significant damage to residential areas, with emergency crews responding to multiple sites.
Key Damage and Casualties
The attack had severe consequences. A 25-story residential building was hit, partially destroying apartments on the 18th and 19th floors. A fire broke out on the 14th floor of a 22-story building, prompting the evacuation of 70 residents. In the Prymorskyi district, 12 residential buildings were damaged, while in the Kyivskyi district, a 22-story building and a dormitory suffered extensive damage, with around 180 windows blown out. In the Khadzhybeiskyi district, a two-story residential building was partially destroyed.
More than ten vehicles were also damaged in the strikes. To manage the aftermath, authorities deployed 28 pieces of equipment and 121 rescue workers. The situation in Odesa remains tense as local services continue recovery efforts.
