Russia attacked Slavutych: 8.5 thousand families are left without electricity.
According to ТСН: Residents of Slavutych, in the Kyiv region, were left without electricity due to a nighttime attack by Russia.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration.
“At night, as a result of the enemy attack, Slavutych temporarily lost centralized electricity supply. Nearly 8.5 thousand families are without light. Energy workers are already working on restoration. Critical infrastructure facilities have been switched to reserve power. There is heating and water for the people,” he noted.
Social institutions have switched to power from generators and batteries. Communication and the Internet are available. There are “Points of Invincibility” functioning in the city.
Attack on Kyiv
It should be reminded that as a result of a new attack by Russian troops on Kyiv, one man was killed and there are also injured.
According to information from the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of January 5, the enemy attacked Ukraine with nine Iskander-M ballistic missiles and S-300 guided missiles, as well as 165 strikes from drones of the type “Shahed”, “Herber” and drones of other types, of which about 100 were “Shaheds”.
This attack is yet another evidence of the tense situation in the region, as the energy infrastructure continues to be a target for the enemy. Restoration of electricity supply is a priority, and local residents hope for a quick response from energy workers and the state’s efforts to support critical infrastructure.
