Raids on Yermak: Poland declares unwavering support for Ukraine

According to ТСН: Poland's strategy for supporting Ukraine remains unchanged, despite reports of a search at the residence of the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, being conducted by anti-corruption agencies.

Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that 'we expect explanations. Our strategy for supporting Ukraine remains unchanged because it lies at the borders of our security. However, for example, it is impossible to join the European Union without transparency in anti-corruption policy.'

He noted that Ukraine is going through difficult times and the issue of corruption 'does not contribute to current peace negotiations'. He also stressed the importance of transparency in anti-corruption policy in Ukraine.

Kosiniak-Kamysz added: 'This is not good news for Poland or Western Europe, whose security border currently runs along the Russian-Ukrainian front line.'

It is reported that there are searches at Andriy Yermak's residence, conducted by NABU and SAP. The bureau emphasized that the investigative actions are sanctioned and are being carried out within the framework of the investigation.

Andriy Yermak himself reported on the searches, noting that NABU and SAP 'are conducting procedural actions' in his home. However, he did not specify what case these actions are related to.

This situation has attracted attention not only in Ukraine but also on the international stage. Poland continues to support our country, but European partners are monitoring the developments, especially given the importance of stability in the region. The situation with anti-corruption investigations may affect strategic relations between countries and further negotiations with the European Union.
