Funding for Mobile Resilience Hubs in Odesa
According to Novyny.live: The city of Odesa is strengthening its network of mobile resilience hubs by allocating 10.7 million hryvnias from its municipal budget for essential equipment. This funding, approved by the city's planning, budget, and finance commission, is part of a broader effort to enhance the city's emergency preparedness. These mobile units are designed to provide critical support and resources to residents during power outages, natural disasters, or other crises.
The funds will be distributed across the city's districts as follows:
- Kyiv District — approximately 2.8 million hryvnias
- Khadzhybei District — around 2.85 million hryvnias
- Peresyp District — nearly 2.18 million hryvnias
An additional sum of almost 3 million hryvnias will be allocated among Odesa's other districts.
The 'Unbreakable Odesa' Program
This allocation falls under the municipal target program 'Unbreakable Odesa.' The program's implementation aims to ensure city residents have access to necessary resources during emergencies.
Bolstering these mobile hubs is a key component of local authorities' strategy to increase the city's resilience. In the face of growing challenges, from severe weather to other critical situations, an effective response system is vital for providing citizens with immediate support. This initiative underscores the city government's active role in fostering a safer environment for Odesa's inhabitants.
