Odesa Privoz Recovers After Shelling - What are the Damages.
On the night of July 23 to 24, Odesa was shelled, resulting in damage to the Privoz market. Many shops and pavilions were damaged or destroyed. Privoz is considered a second home for many entrepreneurs and customers, so the danger does not deter them from continuing to work at the market.
Thank God the pavilion is intact; the Lord protected us. The adjacent premises were affected. They are right across from us, practically 10 meters away. I am very lucky.
Natalia, who sold clothes at Privoz, notes that this place is her second home, and she does not intend to leave it due to the circumstances. Meanwhile, customers who came to the market today are disappointed and outraged by the consequences of the shelling.
It's a great shame what happened to Privoz. I think they will recover.
In addition to the Privoz market, the shelling also caused damage to the Palace of Children's Creativity and two schools in the city. The damages from the attack are still being assessed, but it is already clear that the revival of the destroyed structures will take time and effort.
