The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the commission of state treason in Southern Ukraine

For three years, the State Bureau of Investigation has been establishing the circumstances of possible treason and the unpreparedness of the defense of Southern Ukraine during Russian aggression. The investigation has provided details of this scandalous inquiry.

The State Bureau of Investigation has already interrogated more than 500 individuals and continues to conduct interrogations. According to the investigation, no one is currently suspected of treason in the South.

Eight expert examinations have also been appointed, including explosive and military training. Court decisions regarding the failure of the defense of the South have been considered.

The investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation analyzed the phone contacts of military commanders and examined the possible involvement of individuals in reconnaissance and sabotage activities. Information about the calls of military personnel from January 2021 to December 2022 has been studied.

Arrested former commanders

The State Bureau of Investigation and the Security Service have arrested two generals and a colonel who allowed the capture of part of Kharkiv region territory in 2024. The arrested commanders caused losses of personnel and weapons, as well as violated measures for the defense of the state border. The investigation continues its preliminary inquiry.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the arrests of the generals and the colonel and emphasized the need for truth and justice in this investigation.
