Border crossing points with Romania and Moldova reopened in Odesa region: details for carriers

According to ТСН: The crossing of the state border with Moldova and Romania has been restored in the Odesa region for passenger and freight vehicles through several crossing points.

Vice Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba stated that as of 12:00, access to the crossing points via the M-15 highway 'Odesa – Reni' has been ensured, which is an important route for international logistics in the southern part of the country.

'Our task is to ensure predictable and stable operation of logistics routes even in the context of constant security risks. We are gradually restoring communication, staying in constant contact with neighboring countries, and doing everything possible to ensure that carriers have clear routes and can plan their activities. The situation remains dynamic, however, we are making maximum efforts to support logistics,' emphasized Kuleba.

Main crossing points

The following crossing points are in operation at the Ukrainian-Moldovan and Ukrainian-Romanian borders within the Odesa region:

  • 'Palanca — Mayaki — Udobne'
  • 'Reni — Dzhurdzhuleshti'
  • 'Tabaki — Myrne'
  • 'Vynohradyvka — Vulcanesht'
  • 'Maloyaroslavets — Chadyir-Lunga 1'
  • 'Serpneve — Bessarabka'
  • 'New Troyany — Chadyir-Lunga'
  • 'Starokozache — Tudora'
  • 'Orlivka — Isakcha'

Prior registration in the 'eQueue' system is mandatory for crossing the border through these points for buses and freight vehicles.

At the same time, the Ministry emphasized the limited throughput capacity of the road leading from Odesa to the crossing points, thus drivers and logistics companies are recommended to plan routes in advance and allow additional time for travel.

Current information about the load of the crossing points can be found in the 'Load' section on the official website of the 'eQueue' system.

Moreover, alternative crossing points for buses and freight transport are available at the border with Moldova in Chernivtsi and Vinnytsia regions, which are operating in enhanced mode.

The government calls on international carriers to regularly monitor official announcements as the situation at the border may change. All updates will be informed additionally.

Oleksii Kuleba also spoke about the condition of the bridge in Mayaki and new logistics routes. The enemy inflicted 20 strikes per day.

Restoration of border crossings is an important step for stabilizing logistics routes in the Odesa region, which is of great significance in the context of current security risks. Timely information and route planning will help reduce delays for carriers, which will contribute to the region's economic growth.
