British man survives failed parachute jump in Nevada

According to inkorr.com: Mitchell Deakin became a real lucky man, remaining alive after a tandem jump with an instructor, during which neither the main nor the reserve parachutes deployed. The men fell from three kilometers in Nevada, but fortunately, both survived.

The Briton sustained serious injuries: a broken pelvis, broken ribs, a damaged kidney, and a punctured lung. Doctors performed a complex surgery, installing metal plates to strengthen the pelvis. Deakin's condition is gradually improving, however, the instructor remains in critical condition.

The circumstances of this accident are being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States.

Mitchell's partner has raised over 16 thousand pounds for his treatment and rehabilitation. If the funds exceed the needs, they will be donated to charity.

Unfortunately, recently a Ukrainian trainee died during a training jump with a parachute at the airfield. We express our condolences to the family of the deceased.

After the jump in Nevada, where the parachutes did not deploy, British man Mitchell Deakin suffered severe injuries but miraculously survived. His condition is improving, and the investigation into the circumstances continues. Deakin's partner is actively raising funds for his treatment, and any surplus may go to charity if it exceeds his needs.
