According to the social democrats, Ukraine needs to have the ability to negotiate on equal terms with Russia, but Germany and NATO should not be included in the military conflict with Russia. Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz is also against supplying Ukraine with Taurus missiles in order to ensure the security of Germany.
