The US Continues Peace Negotiations for Ukraine: What We Know About Umyev's Meeting.
According to ТСН: In the United States, negotiations for a peace agreement to end the war in Ukraine have been ongoing for the third consecutive day.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and head of the Ukrainian negotiation group, Rustem Umyev, reported that today he, along with Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov, will hold yet another meeting with the American delegation.
"We are working constructively and substantively. We expect further progress and practical results," Umyev succinctly noted.
It should be reminded that on December 20, the Russian side labeled the negotiations between the Russian Federation and the United States as 'constructive'. Earlier, Reuters revealed details of the subsequent stages of the peace negotiations.
These negotiations are crucial in the context of the prolonged conflict in Ukraine, as their outcomes may significantly influence the future situation in the region. Hopes for a peaceful resolution remain despite the complexity of the process and the conflicting positions of the participants.
