The second round of negotiations between Ukraine and the USA on the peace plan has started in Berlin.
According to ТСН: The delegations of the USA and Ukraine began the second round of negotiations in Berlin on December 15, dedicated to the peace plan.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky continues negotiations with the American delegation.
It is worth noting that the first round of negotiations on the peace plan took place in Berlin on December 14. During the five-hour meeting, Zelensky, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Andriy Hnatov, First Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslytsya, advisor to the head of the President's Office Oleksandr Bevz, as well as US representatives Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner were present.
The negotiations of the first day concluded with Witkoff's statement about 'achieving significant progress.' He noted that the representatives of the states held 'in-depth discussions on the 20-point peace plan' and the topics of the economic agenda.
The bilateral negotiations in Berlin underscore the importance of dialogue between Ukraine and the USA, as both countries work on developing ways to achieve stability and peace in the region. Further discussions could be crucial for overcoming existing challenges and advancing towards the implementation of a peaceful resolution.
