According to inkorr.com: According to Viktor Trehubov, head of the communication department of the Joint Forces Group, flooding in some areas due to the damaged dam complicated the deployment of Russian units and reduced their combat effectiveness after the structure was blown up.

“Some Russian brigades are indeed in a tough spot, as areas critical for their advancement and accumulation have been flooded. This has affected their combat readiness. This fact is undoubtedly positive, as the overall situation in the direction is complex,” emphasized Trehubov.

Despite attempts by Russian troops to break through to Vovchansk, their efforts have thus far been unsuccessful. Meanwhile, part of the Russian forces is engaged in other tasks, which may ease the situation for Ukrainian troops.
