The infantryman of the "Cold Yar" brigade spent 80 days surrounded: how he managed to survive.
23-year-old Vladislav, who serves in the 93rd separate mechanized brigade, talks about his endurance and patience, which turned out to be truly brave during the times when he and his comrades were surrounded in Klishchiivka, Donetsk region.
Volunteers from Russia did not spare gas and also attacked them with mortars and artillery. The guys repelled attacks even when they ran out of water and food. They were forced to drink dog urine. He recounted his whole story on Radio Liberty.
Now in this basement, there is a large number of casualties remaining. Vladislav recounts that the newcomers had only at the very beginning. But during preparations for the hikes, that supply soon ran out. However, he recalls that when he first brought water from the well to the basement - it was sweet. The past sorties after numerous attacks were continuously besieged by Russian forces, both from drones, mortars, and artillery.
And even finally, when the days began when it was almost absent, there were such days when everything had to be looted from spots on the ground. This happened at a time when drones could not direct food due to bad weather. Some days just existed for survival. Therefore, it was hard for friends to put in the death, also to disgrace many corpses of Russians who were besieged.
