Ukrainian servicemen, veterans, and their relatives can receive the opportunity to undergo rehabilitation treatment completely free of charge. This applies to defenders who have the status of combatants.

Who is Provided with Free Health Resort Packages

According to the legislation, the right to free treatment in health resorts on the territory of Ukraine is guaranteed to the following categories of individuals:

  • combatants;
  • persons with disabilities due to war;
  • participants of the war;
  • victims of the Revolution of Dignity;
  • family members of fallen veterans;
  • family members of fallen Defenders of Ukraine.

Individuals from the listed categories have the right to choose a health resort according to the treatment profile, while the expenses for the packages are covered by the state budget.

How to Obtain a Free Health Resort Package

To receive free treatment in a health resort, one must contact the relevant social protection department at their place of registration and provide the necessary documents, including:

  • a written application;
  • medical certificate;
  • copy of the certificate;
  • copy of the military ID;
  • document confirming participation in military operations.

It is prohibited to transfer the voucher to other individuals. In addition, persons with disabilities due to war are compensated for travel expenses to and from the health resort using public transport.

Representatives of Ukrainian servicemen, veterans, and their family members are entitled to free health resort rehabilitation treatment in accordance with Ukrainian legislation. The procedure for obtaining a health resort package involves providing the necessary documents and contacting the appropriate social protection department.
