Forecast for March 5th

March 5th will see notable temperature fluctuations across Ukraine. Daytime air temperatures will range from +4 to +9 degrees Celsius, rising to +6–12 degrees in the southern and western parts of the country. The northeast will remain cooler, with temperatures from +1 to +4 degrees. In Kyiv, nighttime temperatures will vary from +1 to -4 degrees, with a daytime high of +4 to +9 degrees.

• Odesa: Variable cloudiness is expected. Nighttime temperatures from -1 to +4 degrees, rising to up to +13 degrees during the day.
• Dnipro: Nighttime temperatures from -2 to +3 degrees, with a daytime range of +5 to +10 degrees.
• Kharkiv: Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate from -3 to +2 degrees, reaching +1 to +6 degrees in the day.
• Lviv: From March 4th to 7th, variable cloudiness with no precipitation is forecast. Nighttime temperatures from -1 to +4 degrees, climbing to up to +12 degrees during the day.

By March 8th, 2023, a further temperature increase is predicted. Daytime air temperatures are expected to reach +5 to +11 degrees, potentially climbing to +14 degrees in western oblasts.

Furthermore, a level three avalanche danger has been declared for the Zakarpattia mountains on March 4th and 5th, 2023. This is a critical warning for anyone planning to visit mountain areas, as the avalanche risk poses a serious threat to safety.
