Arctic masses will cover Ukraine from September 20: meteorologists warn about frost.
According to inkorr.com: On Sunday, September 21, variable cloudy weather without precipitation is expected in Ukraine. This information was provided by specialists of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
The absence of precipitation is forecasted across the country, except for the southwestern regions, where fog may occur at night and in the morning. The wind will blow from the west and southwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s.
Temperature
At night, the air temperature will fluctuate between 10 and 15°, on the coast of the seas it may reach 18°, and in the east it will drop to 7-12°. During the day, the temperature is expected to be between 22 and 27°.
In the Kyiv region and the capital, variable cloudiness without rain is also forecasted. The wind will be southwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s. The temperature at night will range from 10 to 15°, while during the day it will be from 22 to 27° in the region and from 12 to 14° at night, with daytime temperatures ranging from 25 to 27° in Kyiv.
According to meteorologists, after September 20, a sudden change in weather conditions is expected. Cold Arctic masses will cover Ukraine, which may lead to the first frosts on the surface of the soil in the northern, eastern, and western regions.
A decrease in the amount of precipitation in September by 20-40% is also forecasted, which may increase the risk of drought, especially in the Left Bank, and contribute to the occurrence of forest fires in regions with insufficient moisture.
Thus, a change in weather conditions is expected soon, with the arrival of cold Arctic masses that may bring the first frosts and fog. The reduction of rainfall will also increase the risk of dry conditions and may contribute to the occurrence of forest fires.
Meteorologists' forecasts allow us to prepare for upcoming weather changes and take necessary measures to avoid negative consequences.
