The Polish company Control Process S.A., which won the tender for the construction of a waste processing plant in Lviv, has fallen behind schedule. The local authorities, unimpressed by this behavior, have reached out to the Prime Minister of Poland to request intervention.

The Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, explained that the company was supposed to complete the construction by 2025, but so far only 70% of the work has been done.

Violation of Agreements

According to the mayor, the Polish company has not fulfilled its obligations, although it promised to adhere to the deadlines and quality of work. Sadovy emphasized that it is important not to pay extra for the construction since these are budgetary funds.

“If the Polish company does not adhere to the construction schedule of the plant in Lviv, this is unacceptable. This issue may require international resolution,”
the Mayor of Lviv emphasized.

Sadovy also noted that the authorities have already warned the Ukrainian government about this situation, as it concerns Ukrainian funds. The mayor called for adherence to ethical standards and moral obligations, especially in the context of war.
