Search Dog Hannah, Who Located Over 170 People in Rubble, Has Died.
Hannah's Passing
According to TSN.ua: A Doberman named Hannah, who assisted rescue teams in locating survivors and victims buried under debris from Russian shelling, has died. She was a member of the Antarres Pavlohrad Search and Rescue Cynological Unit and took part in hundreds of search missions across multiple regions of Ukraine, including:
- Kyiv
- Dnipropetrovsk
- Zaporizhzhia
- Donetsk
- Sumy
- Kirovohrad
- Kherson
- Mykolaiv
Throughout her service, Hannah saved more than 170 people. One of her most notable operations involved locating a missing person a full day after they had disappeared. A terminal diagnosis was given to Hannah a year ago, with doctors estimating she had no more than three months to live. However, she defied expectations by surviving another year, continuing to carry out her duties and support rescue teams in their critical work.
