According to ТСН: The situation with mobilization in Ukraine has improved, at least for October this year, so there is no talk of strengthening it.

Military expert Oleksiy Hetman noted that based on the available statistics, the plan has been fulfilled and even slightly exceeded. He emphasizes:

‘I am not allowed to name numbers, but the plan has been fulfilled. It has even been exceeded by a few percent. There is no critical situation, but of course, more people are needed.’

Hetman also pointed out that the year-round conscription of draftees in Russia may indicate an attempt by the occupiers to replace contract soldiers who are in the rear. He adds:

‘And the contract soldiers will go to the front line. This is the first thing. And the second: it is much easier to convince a draftee to sign a contract than a person from the street. The number of people currently available to the Russians on the frontline is not sufficient to achieve the desired success. Therefore, the Russian Federation will look for various ways. What they will find – we shall see.’

Against the backdrop of the tense situation in Ukraine, this information underscores that there is some progress in mobilization in the country. However, the expert also draws attention to the activation of Russia's actions, which indicates their intentions to integrate draftees into the army in order to strengthen their forces on the front line. Such circumstances may affect the overall security in the region.
