Every day at 9 am, Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Ruslan Nechyporuk.

In his native Kherson region, where he went to see his parents during a short leave after being wounded, Ukrainian defender Ruslan Nechyporuk was killed in a hostile drone attack. The life of the defender ended on September 17, 2024. This was reported by the Vinnytsia City Council.

Ruslan Nechyporuk was born on September 2, 1989, in Kherson, but he lived his entire adult life in Vinnytsia. There he married and, together with his wife Natalya, raised their daughter.

Since 2010, Ruslan worked as a tattoo artist and was well known as a tattoo master not only in Ukraine.

On the first day of the full-scale invasion, without hesitation, he volunteered to defend the State as part of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakiv Hanzhiuk (military unit A1619). In the army, he received the call sign Kum.

He was a soldier and rose to the rank of chief sergeant — commander of the unit of strike unmanned aerial systems. He participated in battles on the Kherson front and later on the Donetsk front.

For his dedication, he was awarded the Order of Courage III degree and honorary badges "Golden Cross", "Cross of the Brave", "Cross of Military Honor".

We honor the memory of those who died in the war

"Glavkom" joins the minute of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died fighting for the Homeland. We remember those who were killed by Russian invaders, light candles of memory, and bow our heads in sorrow during the nationwide minute of silence, honoring the bright memory of the citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who died fighting against the Russian occupiers and as a result of the enemy forces' attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages.
