UAF destroyed command post and air defense at Saky airfield: operation details.
According to ТСН: The temporarily occupied Crimea is becoming increasingly dangerous for Russian military forces. Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully attacked the enemy’s strategic target – the military airfield "Saky." This operation was a result of coordinated actions by various units, which allowed the destruction of expensive equipment and disrupted the occupiers' flight control.
What exactly the occupiers lost
As a result of the attack, the enemy's losses turned out to be significant. Ukrainian troops struck the command and dispatch center, hindering the coordination of enemy aviation flights. Storage facilities for modern strike drones of the "Orion" type were also destroyed.
The Russian air defense, which was supposed to protect the facilities, became a target itself. During the attack, several air defense facilities were hit, including the Tor-M2 and Pantsir-S1 missile systems. A mobile fire group of the enemy, which has a ZU-23-2 installation based on a KamAZ truck, was also destroyed.
Details of the joint operation
This strike was made possible thanks to the coordinated work of the Naval Forces and the Special Operations Forces of the UAF. Such combined activity allowed not only to identify targets but also to deliver a precise strike, bypassing enemy defenses. The military emphasize that the systematic destruction of the occupiers' potential in Crimea will continue.
The Naval Forces highlighted the importance of such targeted attacks for the overall situation at the front, as the destruction of each complex brings us closer to liberating the territories.
“Weakening the enemy's combat capability is another step towards victory!”
Moreover, near Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Ukrainian military managed to halt the advance of the Russian army and regain control of the situation in that direction.
Thus, the attacks on the Crimean airfield indicate the growing effectiveness of Ukrainian defense forces. Coordinated actions of the units continue to yield results, undermining the combat capabilities of the occupiers and bringing victory in the war closer.
