Kyiv Police to Announce Alerts Without Electricity: How the New System Will Work.
According to ТСН: In Kyiv, the police will actively inform residents about air raid alerts, even during power outages when regular alert systems may not work.
Changes in Law Enforcement Operations
Due to prolonged power outages and adverse weather conditions, law enforcement in the capital has switched to an enhanced service mode. The number of patrols in areas that have suffered the most damage from shelling has been increased.
Notifying Residents
Police will inform Kyivans about the "Air Raid Alert" and "All Clear" signals even without power. They will use loudspeakers while patrolling residential areas and places where people gather.
Safety Measures
The department emphasizes that when announcing the air raid alert signal, it is essential to urgently head to the nearest shelter and follow all safety measures.
Recall that earlier we reported that on January 12 in Kyiv, an air raid alert was declared due to the threat of an enemy drone.
These measures enhance the effectiveness of notifying the public about danger, especially under conditions when traditional channels may be unavailable. Thanks to the active actions of the police, Kyivans will be able to receive important information and respond promptly to threats.
