Putin Arrives in India: Informal Meeting with Modi in a Car.
According to ТСН: The dictator of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has arrived in India, where he was greeted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to Russian media reports, Putin began his two-day visit, landing at Palam Air Force Base.
After arriving in New Delhi, he got into a car with Modi - into the white SUV of the Indian Prime Minister.
“Putin and Modi traveled in the same car to an informal meeting; communication between the President of Russia and the Prime Minister of India began already in the car,” TASS reporters reported.
In addition, Putin made a new controversial statement regarding the 'liberation of Donbas,' stating that:
“Russia will liberate Donbas and Novorossiya by all means,” the dictator declared.
He added that this would happen through both military and other methods.
Putin's visit to India comes against the backdrop of rising international tensions related to the conflict in Ukraine. The meeting with Modi may indicate that both countries seek to strengthen their relations despite global criticism of Russia's actions. This visit may also be significant for regional policy in Asia and for the relations between Russia and India amid a changing geopolitical situation.
